GM Arthur Artur Chibukhchian was born on October 6, 1979, in Tbilisi. He is one of the best coaches at the Chess Academy of Armenia.
Artur Chibukhchian is considered one of the best coaches of the Chess Academy of Armenia. 

Achievements

• In 1996, as part of Armenia's 3rd team, he participated in the 32nd World Chess Olympiad held in Yerevan. As the second reserve player, he played 5 games, winning 3 and losing 2.
• In February 2014, he secured 3rd place in a round-robin tournament held in Tbilisi.

​Working experience

• From 2011 to 2019, he was appointed as the coach of the Armenian Women's National Chess Team by the Armenian Chess Federation.
• From 2016 to 2020 and again from 2024 to the present, he has been working at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

International titles

After becoming the runner-up in the international tournament "Gyumri-2009" and achieving the Grandmaster norm for the third time, he was officially awarded the title during the 80th FIDE Congress held in Halkidiki, Greece
