GM Arthur Artur Chibukhchian was born on October 6, 1979, in Tbilisi. He is one of the best coaches at the Chess Academy of Armenia.

Achievements
- In 1996, as part of Armenia's 3rd team, he participated in the 32nd World Chess Olympiad held in Yerevan. As the second reserve player, he played 5 games, winning 3 and losing 2.
- In February 2014, he secured 3rd place in a round-robin tournament held in Tbilisi.
Working experience
- From 2011 to 2019, he was appointed as the coach of the Armenian Women's National Chess Team by the Armenian Chess Federation.
- From 2016 to 2020 and again from 2024 to the present, he has been working at the Chess Academy of Armenia.
International titles
After becoming the runner-up in the international tournament "Gyumri-2009" and achieving the Grandmaster norm for the third time, he was officially awarded the title during the 80th FIDE Congress held in Halkidiki, Greece
