The III Yerevan stage of the 20th School Chess Olympiad of the Republic of Armenia has officially begun

The III stage of the Olympiad is taking place at AGBU Armenia, where a true chess atmosphere filled with concentration, excitement, and sporting spirit has prevailed from the very first moments.

Present at the opening ceremony were Smbat Lputian, Founder-Director of the Chess Academy of Armenia and Grandmaster, as well as Inessa Margaryan, Director of Humanitarian and Volunteer Programs at AGBU Armenia. Their presence and inspiring words motivated the participants on their path toward new victories.

It is noteworthy that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the cooperation between the Chess Academy of Armenia and AGBU Armenia, highlighting the long-standing and effective partnership between the two organizations in the development of chess.

The intense and exciting competition is already continuing in this new stage, where the best participants compete with their knowledge, strategic thinking, and strong desire to win. Exciting and hard-fought games, vivid battles, and new victories await us ahead.
