“Goris Open” International Chess Tournament successfully came to its conclusion.

From November 11 to 21, the city of Goris hosted the international chess tournament “Goris Open,” transforming the city into a dynamic chess hub filled with high-level games, competitive atmosphere, and engaging encounters.

The official closing ceremony took place on November 20 at Goris Hotel.
The event was attended by the Head of the Goris municipality, Arush Arushanyan; President of the Syunik Chess Federation, Artur Khojabaghyan; Armenia’s top-ranked chess player and member of the national team, GM Shant Sargsyan; as well as the founder-president of the Chess Academy of Armenia, GM Smbat Lputian.
