Celebration dedicated to International Chess Day

On July 20, 1924, FIDE was founded in Paris, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the history of internaional chess.

What once began as a modest initiative has, over the years, grown into a global movement that unites millions of people around a shared love and passion for the game.

This important day was celebrated in Armenia with a special event. In collaboration with the Kentron Administrative District and ANI Products, the Chess Academy of Armenia organized a vibrant and dynamic celebration in the heart of Yerevan, filled with the spirit of chess. The event brought together residents and guests of the city, as children and adults unitedly  enjoyed simultaneous chess games, puzzle-solving activities, music, and dance.

The celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of chess, and we are truly delighted to have shared this memorable day with all of you.
