23rd Physical Disability World Individual Chess Championship 2024 opening ceremony kicked off at the Black Fortress Memorial Complex

The 23rd Physical Disability World Individual Chess Championship 2024 kicked off today at the Black Fortress Memorial Complex, Gyumri.

It comes as no surprise that Gyumri was selected to host the championship, especially since it was named as the sports capital in 2024.
We proudly announce that this championship has brought 52 chess players from 14 countries to Gyumri.
