"ChessMood" International Open Chess tournament kicked off

"ChessMood" International Open Chess tournament kicked off.

Starting from October 4 to 12, the “chess city” Tsagkadzor is hosting more than 200 leading chess players from more than 10 countries, including 25 International Grandmasters and 40
International and FIDE masters.

During the opening ceremony of the tournament, the President of the Chess Academy of Armenia, Vice-president of the Armenian Chess Federation Smbat Lputian, welcomed the attendees, expressed his gratitude to all the sponsors and supporters, who have already become the part and parcel of the chess family and wished a memorable game to all the participants. 

GM Avetik Grigoryan, one of the sponsors and supporters of the tournament, the founder/CEO of "ChessMood" company, addressed his words of gratitude, welcoming all the participants who expressed their willingness to be the part of such groundbreaking event.
