Online Chess Tournament Dedicated to Moscow City Day
2020-08-20“Dom Moskvy” Cultural-Business Center of Moscow in Yerevan in cooperation with Chess Academy of Armenia is organizing Online Chess Tournament dedicated to Moscow City Day.
The tournament will be held on September 5 at 13:00, which will take place on the site www.lichess.org. You can apply by following this link.
Participation:
Participants must have at least second chess category.
Rules and regulations:
The tournament will be held in 9-round Swiss system in accordance with FIDE Laws of Chess. All other regulations apply as per FIDE Handbook.
Time control is 3 minutes for the whole game with 1 seconds increment starting from move one.
Additional indicators:
In case of equal points, the prizes will be determined on the website of the Swiss tournament on www.lichess.org.
Prizes: Total prize fund – $1000
1st place - $250
2nd place - $150
3rd place - $100
4th place - $70
5th place - $40
6th place - $10
7th place - $10
8th place - $10
9th place - $10
10th place- $10
Special prizes:
best performance among girls - $50
best performance among seniors - $50
best performance among children up to 18 years of age - $50
best performance among children up to 16 years of age - $40
best performance among children up to 14 years of age - $30
best performance among children up to 12 years of age – $20
best performance among children up to 10 years of age – $10
Lucky Awards: 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 88, 99 places that will be announced at the end of the tournament by Lichess. Each of these players will be paid $10.
ATTENTION!
Here are the mandatory conditions for participation:
• The organizer has the right to remove from the tournament the participant who is suspected of unfair play,
• Prizes will be awarded three days after the tournament, only after checking the played games to avoid awarding prizes to computer-aided participants.
