Retreats

Since its opening, twice a year the Chess Academy has been organizing retreats in the best vacation spots in Armenia. The featured students of the Academy take part in the retreats, besides selected foreign participants from such countries as USA, Georgia, Iran and Lebanon are included. Famous chess players and trainers are invited to pass on their experience and knowledge to the students. The retreats are organized in spring for 10 days. In 2002 the first retreat took place in Tsakhkadzor. Thus far the retreats have been organized in Jermuk, Tsakhkadzor, Arzni, Blue Sevan and Kirovakan.
